Mountain Biking Day Tour

Seeing the Sonoran desert on 2 wheels is one of the more memorable ways to do it! We have lots of options for any level of rider and if you have not been on a bike for a while, don't worry, we can help you rediscover that talent. If you are a road cyclist and or an intermediate/experienced mountain biker we have you covered too. Pedal preference?  No worries.  Need a lift?  We can swing by and pick you up!  And we love riders of all ages, so if the kids have joined you on your getaway to the Valley of the Sun, bring them along!  (as long as they can ride a bike, of course!) If you're in Arizona for business or pleasure, make sure to stop by DukOUT for a mountain biking tour or a guided outdoor adventure!

What To Bring

Remember, on our Arizona mountain biking tours and guided outdoor adventures, we are in the desert and it is dry! Always be prepared for the powerful effects of the desert sun, even in the winter! Some items that you will want to bring/wear for this tour are as follows:

  • Clothing - Moisture wicking clothing (polyester based clothes) are the best option for outdoor activity in the desert and long sleeves are great for blocking the sun. Also keep in mind that loose flappy pants and bike chains don't mix so be prepared to wear shorts, tighter pants or get ready to roll them up!
  • Shoes - Please make sure to wear closed-toed shoes or if you have bike shoes feel free to bring those along!
  • Hats - All guests are required to wear a helmet on our mountain biking tours however it is always a good idea to bring a hat for before and after the ride to keep the sun out of your eyes and mask the inevitable helmet hair!
  • Sun Glasses & Sunscreen - The AZ sun is often underestimated and we highly recommend wearing a good pair of sunglasses and lathering yourself up with sunscreen prior to the ride.
